I just don't give a shit anymore. About anything. I was never really drawn to technology or coding but pursued a CS degree because it's what my parents and teachers told me to do when I was 17 and about to start college. "Get that piece of paper and everything will work out." Got the degree, graduated cum laude, even published a small research project which I presented at a global conference. Nothing. Didn't matter. Nobody gives a shit and now I'm thousands in debt with no end in sight. Now people like OP are telling me I have to get some kind of work even if it pays like shit, is degrading, and has nothing to do with my degree. I'm sick of listening to other people about what to do with my life. If I'm really such a loser I'll just let myself die on the streets like God intended, but I'm not jumping through anymore hoops for the promise of "a decent life" just so I can get fucked in the ass a second time.
